May Reading List

Well, I've obviously slipped back into my old ways, making up for April! What can I say? I met all my sewing and knitting deadlines and decided to take a break. If it ever stops raining I may actually get back into the garden again. A friend brought me a huge strawberry plant yesterday!

I'm looking forward to June as, now being officially an old person, I will be drawing my State Pension (UK version of Social Security) and - even better! - will get my free bus pass. This entitles me to also buy an annual Metro pass for something like £12 (as opposed to over £600). Can't use it before 9.30 am, but since I've never been a morning person, what do I care!? I may never stay home again!
