Using What I Have

I find using up what I have quite satisfying, much better than saving it 'for best'.

Cheery yellow and blue tablecloth a gift from Marie-Reine in Nice.  A lovely
reminder of a lovely lady.

On a dark grey day in January, as we were about to sit down to lunch, rather than use electricity, I lit the candles, already bought.

Using the good stuff; that's a lovely idea, and one we all need reminding of, every now and again! I like the idea of using candles more frequently. Imbues an air of romance and magic to any occasion :)

Hi Shelley,
Happy Sunday. Having read your opening statement about "saving for best". It's funny we do that, save things for best. I have long been thinking that every day we are here is "best", so why not treat it as such. That candle glow is wonderful on these gloomy British grey days. Enjoy!

Lovely! Cabin fever had me redecorating yesterday using "what I have". It was fun!
