North Sea Grey

I was looking in my photos for something else and just noticed the shadows on these photos. 

At first I thought there was some sort of technical problem that made half of them shaded. 

Then I clicked on them and found they were a perfect  explanation for why the North Sea’s usual colour up here is dark grey…
