I can't imagine anyone being able to get into any kind of holiday spirit after losing their spouse. I think the cards are supposed to be about indicating to people that you like them well enough to bother with a greeting. Drive safe when you are out; unfortunately, not everyone is always perfectly sober out there.Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10239488936038510294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1193495388714584422.post-87758919801772727942011-12-14T22:45:39.171+00:002011-12-14T22:45:39.171+00:00Christmas traditions are nice. Jo always enjoyed putting up the tree, decorating it with all the homemade ornaments she had made over the years. This year it will all stay in the attic. If all works out I'll be on the road Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Just me and the dogs heading south. May get back into wanting to follow some traditions someday but not now.

As for Christmas cards, I never understood that tradition. That is not something my folks ever did when we were growing up. Especially never understood sending them to people we never see or visit with and only do it because they send us one every year. (Guess I'm really in a Bah, Humbug mood.)Rick Stonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07771838562627660449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1193495388714584422.post-86590445271463332942011-12-14T20:45:14.890+00:002011-12-14T20:45:14.890+00:00A masterpiece!A masterpiece!Frugal Scholarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12696815672500452503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1193495388714584422.post-91811980782614110252011-12-14T15:42:44.722+00:002011-12-14T15:42:44.722+00:00Bah!! Why do we send cards to people we don't hear from 364 days of the year?Suburban Princesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08229769705478339351noreply@blogger.com
